The PICS Award was established in 1997 to honor the person (physician or industry) that has contributed to the ever-expanding field of Interventional Cardiology for Congenital & Pediatric Heart Disease. Their innovations and contributions are felt in our field.
The first two recipients were chosen initially was the course directors and after that a committee headed by Dr. Michael Tynan was established to choose the recipient of this prestigious award. |
