Dr. Jenny E. Zablah

Dr. Jenny Zablah is an Interventional Congenital Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She serves as Director of the Pulmonary Vein Stenosis Program and leads the Advanced Imaging and 3D Innovation Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. 

Her work bridges clinical innovation and translational research, integrating 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality, and computational modeling to enhance congenital heart interventions. She leads multiple multicenter collaborations focused on pulmonary vein stenosis, advanced imaging–guided procedures, and Electrical Impedance Tomography for real-time pulmonary perfusion assessment. Dr. Zablah is Principal Investigator on several foundation and industry-sponsored studies, including first-in-human device evaluations and cutting-edge imaging trials. 

Dr. Zablah has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters, and she is an invited speaker at major international meetings worldwide. 

She has been recognized among Forbes Central America’s 100 Most Influential Women (2020) and honored as an Emblematic Woman (2022) by the Mercados & Tendencias Magazine; for her global contributions to medicine and science. 

Dr. Zablah is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She takes great pride in guiding trainees at all levels whether through formal fellowships and master’s programs in Colorado or as an international mentor. 

Finally, dedicated to advancing global health, Dr. Zablah leads congenital cardiac catheterization missions in El Salvador extending care to underserved communities while fostering sustainable global collaboration.
